How to root Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 SM-T217S (Sprint) easily with Magisk
- Download Magisk zip.
- Copy downloaded zip file to your device memory.
- Boot into recovery mode. To do so, first turn off your Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 SM-T217S (Sprint) then press and hold Volume Up, Home and Power button together. You can also boot into recovery without key combination.
- Tap on Install, then browse to the location where you saved the files and tap on the Magisk zip file. Now at the bottom of the screen, do a swipe on the Swipe to confirm flash option to begin flashing.
- When the installation is completed, go back to the main recovery menu and tap on Reboot and then, tap on System to reboot your device.
- Now check whether Magisk Manager is installed. If not then download the apk and installed it manually. You may need to allow unknow sources when asked to install it. Make sure you have latest Magisk manager installed.
While in Odin DL mode -

Then reboot back to Odin DL mode
Use Odin 3.09 to AP flash recovery.tar.md5 found in TWRP-2.6.3.0-recovery.tar.zip
Reboot device to file transer or download directly to tablet: TWRP-3.1.0-lt02lte.zip and also Magisk.zip and also lineage-14.1-20190523-UNOFFICIAL-lt02ltespr.zip and also open_gapps-arm-7.1-nano-(newest).zip
Boot into TWRP and flash the device the files in that order.
