How To Unlock and Install TWRP Recovery On Realme X2 Pro

WARNING: Unlocking the bootloader will erase all data on your device! Before proceeding, ensure the data you would like to retain is backed up to your PC and/or your Google account, or equivalent. 1. Make sure your computer has a working adb and fastboot. Setup instructions can be found here.

How To Unlock Realme X2 Pro

1. Navigate Realme’s forum and then Go to your device’s page by clicking Product option, followed by the device’s name.
• Click Unlock Bootloader Tutorial for Name_of_the_device.
• Download and install the unlock tool apk on your phone.
• Open the unlock tool app and click Start Applying.
• Please read the disclaimer in detail, select the checkbox, and submit your application.
• The application will be processed in Realme servers and within an hour, the unlock tool app will show the status of the unlock request. Once it shows the unlocking is successful, please proceed to the next step.
• Click Start the in-depth test in the unlock tool app. The device will reboot.
• fast boot_unlock_verify ok string will be displayed.
2. Connect your device to your PC using a USB cable.
3. Now on your computer open a command prompt (on Windows) or terminal (on Linux or macOS) window, and type: adb reboot bootloader. Now type the following command to unlock: fastboot flashing unlock. You require to press the Volume Up key to select Unlock on your mobile.
5. If the device doesn’t automatically reboot, reboot it. It should now be unlocked.
7. Since the device resets completely, you will need to re-enable USB debugging to continue.

How To Install TWRP Recovery 3.3.1-0 on Realme X2 Pro

1. Download TWRP.
2. Once done, connect your device to your PC using a USB cable.
3. Now on your computer open a command prompt (on Windows) or terminal (on Linux or macOS) window, and type: adb reboot bootloader . You can also boot your Realme X2 Pro to fastboot mode by pressing Volume Up + Volume Down + Power when the device power is off, until a boot menu appears. Use volume rockers to navigate and power button to choose between the modes.
4. To confirm the device is connected in fastboot mode or not, type: fastboot devices.
5. Once confirmed, type the following command to flash TWRP Recovery: fastboot flash recovery twrp-x.x.x-x-RMX1931.img. [Note: Replace TWRP file name with your downloaded file name]
6. The device should automatically reboot, if not then reboot it manually.

Tip: To boot into recovery first turn off your Realme X2 Pro and then press and hold Volume Down, Volume Up, and Power button together until a boot menu appears. Use volume rockers to navigate and power button to choose between the modes.
