How to root Redmi Note 8/8T - Simple Safe Method

How to root Redmi Note 8/8T easily with Magisk


  1. Download Magisk zip.
  2. Copy downloaded zip file to your device memory.
  3. Boot into recovery mode. To boot into recovery first turn off your Redmi Note 8/8T and then press and hold Volume Up and Power button together until the “MI” logo appears on the screen, then release. You can also boot into recovery without key combination.
  4. Tap on Install, then browse to the location where you saved the files and tap on the Magisk zip file. Now at the bottom of the screen, do a swipe on the Swipe to confirm flash option to begin flashing.
  5. When the installation is completed, go back to the main recovery menu and tap on Reboot and then, tap on System to reboot your device.
  6. Now check whether Magisk Manager is installed. If not then download the apk and installed it manually. You may need to allow unknown sources when asked to install it. Make sure you have the latest Magisk manager installed.
