Requirements:

  2. Enable USB Debugging on your device. [Tutorial]
  3. Proper USB driver is installed. [Download]
  4. A rooted LG G Pad 7.0 (LTE). [You can use towelroot app to root your LG G Pad 7.0 (LTE) easily]

How To Install TWRP Recovery 3.1.0-0 on LG G Pad 7.0 (LTE)

  1. Download TWRP.
  2. Once done, connect your device to your PC using a USB cable.
  3. Now on your computer open a command prompt (on Windows) or terminal (on Linux or macOS) window. Then copy TWRP file to your phone SD Card using adb command: adb push twrp-x.x.x-x-v410.img /sdcard/twrp-v410.img [Note: Replace TWRP file name with your downloaded file name]
  4. Now enter adb shell with following command: adb shell .
  5. Finally, type following command one by one: 
Su
dd if=/sdcard/twrp-v410.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/recovery
Tip: To boot into recovery first turn off your LG G Pad 7.0 (LTE) and then press and hold Volume Down and Power button together. When the LG logo appears, release both buttons and then hold them again.

That’s it! You now have an LG G Pad 7.0 (LTE) with latest supported TWRP Recovery installed.
